Authors purpose
Author of the hunger games is Suzanne Collins she was born in Hartford Connecticut. The reason why I think Suzanne wrote the book the hunger games because her father was an Air Force officer and I think that what influenced her the most to write this book the hunger games has a lot of things related to military and how people where fighting for survival and how everyone was under a rule of one capital her being involved in her fathers life maybe inspired her to write a book like this relating to the things that happens in war this book is fiction but doesn't mean that things you read about in the book is enterly false a lot of those things are what we see in a day to basis today. The thing that struck Collins to I courted her to write about the hunger games was when she was tv and it lacked coverage of the Iraq war and that struck her to write about a rebellious girl standing up for her district the themes that relates to Iraq war and the novel is that the districts are very poor and and the capital is very rich while everyone starv and lack food and shelter to keep going with they life they don't have it while the rich have all nessery things they need and more while everyone suffer you can see old torn down buildings places that are ruined because of the war and I think that's what Collins was trying to capture in novel when you read you all the sudden think about a major war when people where in a situation like that. The character that I think the author sees herself as is katnis because she grows up in military like home and her motivation for writing this novel kinda strike you as rebellious also because she was born in the United States but talks about how the war in Iraq was key to her writing this novel she standing up for what she believes in even if she was born in a military like home but she wrote it from what inspired her.
